Hola, I'm Melfie.
I am primarily focused on dollmaking and graphic design, so I wouldn’t have guessed that I could contribute something to the video game and comic industries. Years ago, I started publishing a webcomic on Tapas, a passion project that helped me to develop a bit of drawings skills. I met so many incredible artists, and this is where Jen’s projects caught my attention; they were so fresh and unique. In a sea of indie comics and novels, I saw so much potential in his stories. Bunneh was so special.
It amazed me how Bunneh became a real printed book, the dream of many artists. As an entrepreneur myself, I will always support and try to help artists who want to make their dreams come true, so I happily joined Jens when I was asked to draw the video game art. Nathan McWilliams is an absolute genius, and I can’t straight up copy his style, but I can do my best to draw good-looking visuals. It is also amazing working with Diego Palacios, who programmed the game. I can absolutely trust that he will come up with the best ideas and will support me every step of the way.
I can only feel happy and proud of the Bunneh universe as it expands into different media. I hope the public can see what we as collaborators see: a product of tenacity, skill and heart.
